is part of the restoration movement within the church of Jesus Christ which for over a century and a half has pleaded for the unity of all of God's people in the one Body. Membership in this congregation is based on faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We have no creed but Christ. Because baptism (the immersion of the repentant believer) was commanded by our Lord and His apostles in the New Testament, it is a qualification for membership. Eastside Christian Church is a free congregation, not ruled by a professional hierarchy but led by men and women with faith and Holy spirit. We are not a denomination, but we participate with sister churches in many projects and programs that exalt the Lord Jesus and spread the Gospel. We are not the only Christians, but Christians only. We are not perfect saints; we are forgiven sinners growing in grace to spiritual maturity.
If you are not a Christian, we lovingly and urgently invite you to commit your life to Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian in need of a church home, we would be delighted to have you transfer your membership to this fellowship.
