SC and Janet Couch are now serving in their 8th year with the friendly family fellowship at Eastside Christian Church. They live in nearby Sun n Lakes South about four miles from the church location.
SC is a graduate of Lincoln, Illinois Christian College (1967) and has been preaching now for forty years. He is serving as President of the Lake Placid Christian Ministerial Association.
Janet and SC have three married children; Jennifer Langston, Avon Park; Jon, Ft. Worth, TX and a graduate student at Southwestern Theological Seminary and Jeremy, Davenport, Fl.
Jennifer and Tim Langston have three boys, Tyler 8, Chase 6 and Bryce 4 years old. Jon and Kristin have, Caleb 8, Jacob 6, and Marcus 2 and Lauren Olivia 5 months. Jeremy and Jessica have not begun a family yet. All these families are active members of a church in their community.
SC and Janet enjoy the Eastside family who are "Building for All Generations." We invite and encourage you to come share with the family friendly congregation, as we prepare to move into the new 9,000 square foot Agape' Family Center". This new building holds a large foyer and office, classrooms, library-conference room, nursery, kitchen and restrooms. It serves as a multi-purpose room for fellowship meals, and recreational activities for all ages.
A big thank you everyone who has prayed and given sacrificially of their money, time, and talent to make this a reality. Members of the construction team are Barry Rehebein, Newell Hull, Virginia Dutchess, and SC Couch. Special thanks, to all the men who donated so many hours and saved thousands of dollars. Barry and Newell went the second mile and beyond!
